Thornback & Peel Tea Towel, Biscuit Tins and More

Juliet Thornback and Delia Peel met in 2003 and started producing hand printed clutch bags while keeping their day jobs as a florist (Julia) and theatre designers (Delia). And so the story continues. In 2004 Juliet and Delia established Thornback & Peel intending to create beautiful, intricate screen-printed items for the home.

Juliet and Delia soon quickly developed their signature style, basing their designs on imagery that uses artistic traditions, combining modern geometric patterns with wood engravings from Victorian times inspired by the like of Mrs Beeton’s household management, McGregor’s garden, using minute imagery of the natural world in Norfolk and Devon.

Their work is a mixture of fun and design. They have produced a range of Aprons, Bags, Oven Gloves, Tea Towels and Tins, Biscuit Barrels, Caddies, Nesting Cake Tins and Mugs all offered in their unique Blackbird & Bramble, Cactus & Bird, Dog & Daisy, Robin & Holly, Rabbit & Cabbage and Rabbit & Pudding designs.
