Revell Military Aircraft Post-1945
Through the past 60 years the aviation industry has made some great advancements on military aircraft. At the end of the Second World War many older types of aircraft were discontinued to make way for the new improvements, the biggest one of all was the Jet engine.

The jet engine was actually experimented and used many years before 1945, but it wasn't until after this date that these were commonly used. In the 1950s the jet was almost the universal engine for all fighter aircraft as it offered more speed, thrust and was much easier to control whilst in the air.
Revell models offer a huge variety of post 1945 military aircraft that you can build up yourself. In a range of large scale and small mini kits there is sure to be something for all interests and abilities. One of the favourites is the Eurofighter Typhoon in 1:72 scale. Its a fighter aircraft that was first introduced in 2003 and is still used today by many air forces around the world including the RAF, Luftwaffe and Italian Air Force.
Not all military aircraft are used for these combat rolls. The RAF have a team of acrobatic pilots that wow spectators all across the world using specially adapted BAe Hawk T.MK1 planes. These are known as The Red Arrows and you can build you very own 1:72 scale model with these Revell kits.
