Egg-Poaching bags allow water to contact the egg, without the raw egg leaking into the water.

After a few minutes your delicious poached egg slides out easily using no butter, no oil, and no vinegar. So you get ‘proper’ water-poached eggs, perfect first time. Every time.

Immerse several together in one saucepan and make as many poached eggs as you want. All at the same time.

How to use:

• STEP 1: Fill a saucepan 3/4 full of water, bring to a boil, then turn down so that the water is gently bubbling
• STEP 2: Open a Poachie and place into a glass or mug. Crack an egg into the Poachie
• STEP 3: Immediately lift the Poachie out, pulling the top together and place vertically into the gently bubbling water. The Poachie closes as it sinks into the water. Add more Poachies as required, cracking eggs and immersing one at a time
• STEP 4: Poach for 4 1/2 - 5 1/2 minutes depending on size and temperature of eggs. (some foam is normal). Remove each Poachie with tongs or a slotted spoon. Place on a paper towel. Allow to drain and cool slightly.
• STEP 5: Grip the Poachie by the bottom seam, and shake firmly but gently. Your perfectly poached egg will slide out easily. If the egg does not slide out easily, it is not quite ready. Re-Immerse for 20 - 30 seconds.

Note: Use once, then recycle or compost. Always use fresh eggs.

When using eggs several days old, slight leakage may occur in the glass. To avoid this, simply add a splash of hot water into the open Poachie before cracking egg.
