Who is Cobb Vanth ?

• Cobb Vanth is a fictional character in the Star Wars universe. He was introduced in the Star Wars novel "Aftermath" by Chuck Wendig, which was published in 2015. Cobb Vanth is a former slave who became the self-appointed sheriff of the town of Freetown on the planet Tatooine.
• He gained further prominence when he made his live-action debut in the Star Wars television series "The Mandalorian" in its second season. He was portrayed by actor Timothy Olyphant. In the show, Vanth encounters the Mandalorian protagonist, Din Djarin (also known as Mando), and they form an alliance to defeat a common enemy.
• It is worth noting that although Cobb Vanth wears Mandalorian armor, he is not a Mandalorian himself but rather a non-Mandalorian individual who acquired the armor and uses it for his own purposes.
