Choose your Favourite Beer Glass

Traditionally beer was served in glass tankards in the United Kingdom in measures of pints or divisions thereof so it continues to this day even in the metric measuring system. The plain glass tankard as history dictates is a heavy bottomed glass with a handle usually preferred by the older amongst us some may say more reserved and more particular. Some would prefer a personalised beer tankard glass some even with a message "Sorry, I cant hear you until I have a beer in my hand or "World's Okayest Dad".

Others might say that smooth surfaced glass called straight by the connoisseurs is better and more refined (it is tapered or concave) but you get the gist. For those more modern drinkers who prefer Craft Beer Glasses or lager tipplers with Pilsner Glasses.

The tankard might have a further description such as Falstaff, Exmoor, Barleycorn or Dimple the glasses collective should hold a pint or thereabouts a substantial amount anyway.

For all you who like a pint cheers!
