20 Years of Toys and More!
2023 marks twenty years since we opened the doors to our independent shopping centre in Malton, North Yorkshire.
What started as a love for Pottery and Glassware soon grew to Health and Beauty, then Models Kits and Toys. With customers worldwide, the Lanes has become an emporium that retains our independent, family values. We now stock over 6,000 products, ranging from LEGO (our speciality) to model aircraft, collectable pottery, glassware, gifts, homeware and health and beauty products.

Our Shopping Centre
We know our customers look forward to getting the latest collectables and model kits. We know it's where our youngest customers spend their pocket money. And we know enthusiasts are keeping an eye on what's arriving. That's why we work hard to keep the doors to our shop open. It's a space where you can browse our entire collection of toys, collectables and model kits and chat with staff about anything.
In 2003, we refurbished what's known as The Lanes in Malton to create a mall-like shopping centre with separate shops for different interests. In one 'shop,' you'll find all our LEGO; in another there's model kits, then health and beauty, gifts and homewares in others.
We like to think of it as a one-of-a-kind space that retains the spirit of shopping on the high street.

What we offer
No wait times. We hold a vast range of LEGO, model kits, model railway accessories, puzzles, toys for all ages, hobby items and collectables. You won't have to wait for any orders – everything ordered online will be sent out by the next working day (free for all UK orders).
If we don't have what you're looking for, we'll also do our best to source it for you.

From the outset, our specialism has been selling LEGO for all ages and abilities. We stock everything and are constantly updating our stock with new LEGO ranges.

Model kits for adults and children
We stock a variety of model kits from all the top brands for all ages and abilities, including Airfix, Revell and Tamiya. There are cars, aircraft, figurines, spacecraft and more to tackle. We're also adding new model kits all the time – bookmark our blog to keep up to date.
Something for everyone
Over the years, we've expanded to offer licensed homewares and gifts, including collectable glassware and tableware, not forgetting our health and beauty products, where you will find a vast offering of vitamins, minerals and food supplements.

We have a loyal group of people working for us, and here we meet some of them below.
 Dan heads our Purchasing team. His favourite product is Pokémon Cards, and in his spare time, he lives to play squash! |  Tom looks after all things IT and, of course, this website. His favourite product is Lego, and he loves going on a long Hike. |  Sian heads our Accounts and Human Resources section. When it's all hands on deck, she helps with just about everything! |
 James works in our Retail and Deliveries team. His favourite product is Ravensburger Jigsaws, and he enjoys long walks. |  Laura runs our Order Processing Department. Her favourite products are all things Wrendale, and she likes making Diamond Art in her spare time. |  Louise works in our Online Order Processing and Packing department. Helps in the Shopping Centre when needed. |
 Sarah is our leading light in our Shopping Mall, helping with Shop Sales, Customer inquiries and Online Stock Picks. |  Helen works in Customer Services, and her favourite products are Emma Bridgewater.
